Canoe Centre

This canoe centre was faced with the challenge of meeting a stringent green development code. Energy consumption and carbon emissions had to be minimised but at the same time the pumping station needed power to create rapids and energy was needed for hot water and heating.

The solution was an integrated approach combining solar thermal with ground source heat pumps.

The result is reduced heating costs, a smaller carbon footprint and hot water all year round.
