Working with leading provider of controlled environments to scientific, research and educational facilities, Unigro, Enevis were brought on board to design and install the new contained chambers which were to contain condensing boilers, underfloor heating and combined heat and power systems to ensure the new facility is as environmentally friendly as possible.

Unigro is a leading provider of controlled environments such as contained greenhouses, growth chambers, clean rooms, walk-in chambers and other research facilities. Its GroDome and GroRoom ranges are in use in major universities and research institutes throughout the UK, and have been designed and constructed to provide the highest level of research capability.

The new design incorporated a range of individual, isolated bays with precise controllable climates for temperature, relative humidity, day length and light levels.
